Designed for learners who have successfully navigated phases I through IV of the Picture Exchange Communication System using traditional PECS books, PECS IV+ represents the natural next step in their communication journey. Developed by Pyramid Educational Consultants, renowned for their evidence-based PECS approach, PECS IV+ empowers users to construct a multi-picture Sentence Strip™ using a dedicated Sentence Starter™ page and up to 30 digital PECS book pages to facilitate in-app voice communication capability.

<li>Effortlessly rearrange pictures on the Sentence Strip without needing to delete images</li>
<li>Clear Sentence Strips with a single button press or clear individual pictures by swiping them back into the book</li>
<li>Comes equipped with over 1,000 Pics for PECS images</li>
<li>Integrates key features from the PECS protocol such as a constant time delay for the in-app voice</li>

Customize Each Book:
<ul>
<li>Open or close the dedicated Sentence Starter page with a single touch</li>
<li>Create 1-30 tabbed pages with up to 28 pictures per page</li>
<li>Personalize each page by specifying the number of VELCRO® strips, color, category icon, and/or number of pictures per page</li>
</ul>

Customize Pictures:
<ul>
<li>Select from included Pics for PECS images or add images from your photo library and the web</li>
<li>Edit text on pictures or adjust text placement on or around the image</li>
<li>Vary picture sizes as desired</li>
<li>Utilize the search function within the Pics for PECS library for ease of access</li>
</ul>

Speech:
<ul>
<li>Utilize customizable synthesized speech (AVSpeechSynthesizer) or record personalized speech messages</li>
<li>Incorporate the research-backed constant time delay method for 'reading' the Sentence Strip to encourage speaking opportunities for users</li>
</ul>

Select from Included Profiles or Create New Profiles to Customize:
<ul>
<li>Determine how pictures are manipulated: tap, drag, or both</li>
<li>Select your preferred method to clear/reset the Sentence Strip</li>
<li>Choose the visibility status of the Sentence Starter page</li>
<li>Select reading direction: left to right or right to left</li>
<li>Opt for when to read the Sentence Strip: after each picture selection or upon completion with a single tap of the "Speak" button</li>
